Offering new methods of access and enhanced functionality, electronic resources are becoming more prolific in the Marquette Libraries and more in demand by our users. The Libraries acquires and provides access to a growing collection of online databases, e-books, e-journals, and other digitally-based materials to expand the options for accessing and using information.
E-resources may be acquired and accessed through several methods:
Whatever the method of acquisition and access, the Libraries strive to be responsive to the needs of Marquette faculty, students and staff. Listings of databases, e-book collections, and e-journal collections highlight some of the resources currently available.
As new databases and collections are considered for acquisition, trials are sometimes offered for a limited time; the Marquette community is invited to try out these potential new resources and submit their feedback for further consideration.
The Libraries also established some online collections of Marquette-related materials. E-Publications@Marquette is the institutional repository of published scholarly works of Marquette faculty and student research, including Marquette these and dissertations. E-Archives is a collection of selected, digitized materials in the Special Collections and University Archives.
