       ** Benefit eligible administrators must enroll in their benefits within 30 days of 

            employment. Effective date will be their date of hire.

Time Off

   Vacation

   Each administrator begins with three weeks vacation per year. Employees with 5-  

   19 years of service will be given four weeks of vacation and employees with 20 or

   more years of service will have five weeks of vacation. Eligibility - Vacation

   awarded upon hire, pro-rated for remainder of the fiscal year.

   Holidays

   The university recognizes 11 holidays per year, plus a floating holiday. Eligibility -

   upon hire. Floating holiday eligible after completion of one year of employment.

Tuition Remission

For employees: This plan allows full-time regular and part-time regular employees to attend classes on a part-time basis to obtain an undergraduate or graduate degree. The offering allows full-time employees to take seven credit-hours in each of the Spring and Fall semesters, and eight credit hours in the summer session. Part-time employees may take up to four credit hours in each of the Spring and Fall semesters, and eight credit hours in the summer session. Eligibility - the start of the semester following hire date.

For Spouse: This plan allows spouses of full-time regular employees to attend classes on a part-time basis to obtain an undergraduate or graduate degree. The offering allows seven credit hours in each of the Spring and Fall semesters and eight credit hours in the summer session. Eligibility - the start of the semester following hire date.

For Dependents: This plan allows dependents of full-time regular employees to attend classes on a full-time basis at Marquette University. Each student is required to meet the usual academic and other requirements for admission to and retention by the university. Eligibility - the start of the semester following five years of employment.
