What is the status of my financial aid application? Did I receive an award?

The Graduate School sends all financial aid applications for scholarships and assistantships to departments immediately after the financial aid deadline. Applications received after the deadline will be sent to the department for consideration. However, departments begin reviewing applicants the day after the deadline, so the amount of aid decreases the longer you wait after the deadline. Requests for financial aid are reviewed by each graduate unit. About a month after the departments receive the applications, they submit their aid recommendations to the Graduate School.
