Senior Challenge- Ways to Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved and show your support for Marquette. If you want to represent your class and make a difference for Marquette students, consider joining Senior Challenge in one of the following roles:

Senior Challenge Co-chair

The Senior Challenge co-chair is responsible for assisting in the coordination and implementation of the annual Senior Challenge campaign. (S)he will execute the fundraising plan developed in collaboration with the Advancement Officer, Young Alumni & Student Giving. The co-chair is also tasked with increasing the awareness of philanthropic initiatives benefiting both current and future students. The co-chair must be dedicated to the mission of Marquette University and be able to creatively engage his/her peers to improve student giving at the university.

Qualifications: The Senior Challenge co-chair should be a Marquette University senior in the Class of 2016. The student must be willing to work in collaboration with fellow co-chairs on goal setting, strategy development and volunteer management. Candidates will understand the importance of financial support from alumni, parents, friends and students of the university and the role University Advancement plays in that process.

Key Responsibilities:

Reports to: Advancement Officer, Young Alumni & Student Giving

Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week, September to May

Senior Challenge Committee Member

The Senior Challenge committee is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of the annual Senior Challenge campaign. Committee members must be dedicated to the mission of Marquette University and be able to creatively engage his/her peers to improve student giving at the university.

Qualifications: Senior Challenge committee members should be a Marquette University junior or senior. Candidates must understand the importance of financial support from alumni, parents, friends and students of the university; and the role University Advancement plays in that process.
