...a student organization comprised of all seniors from the graduating class. The Senior Challenge Committee is responsible for the senior class gift to the university and all of the sponsored events/outings.
Over the past several years Senior Challenge has evolved into an organization with an agenda of passing on gifts of opportunity. These gifts come in the form of scholarships. This year, the committee is asking every member of the senior class to show their spirit and commitment to their soon to be alma matter by contributing $20.09 to this cause. Individually, a scholarship gift of $20.09 seems insignificant, but collectively our class gift can support many of our gifted classmates.
At many schools, the senior class gift is considered the last chance for seniors to show their school spirit before surrendering their “student” status for “alumni.” Marquette’s Senior Challenge is no exception! If every senior at Marquette contributed to the class gift at the suggested amount of $20.09, collectively we could give a gift of $26,000 for scholarships to those students in need.
The Senior Challenge Committee 20.09 has selected the Scholars Fund as the main vehicle of support this year. Through this fund , seniors have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the lives of their fellow classmates through scholarship support. While you may choose to support a cause that is more closely aligned to your priorities, we ask that you consider the Scholars Fund because a gift to scholarships truly lives out the meaning of Marquette mission of being men and women for others.
