Welcome to Planned Giving

We look forward to helping you explore opportunities for creative philanthropy. Planned gifts cover a wide range of options - from including Marquette University as a beneficiary in your will or your retirement account to creating a charitable gift annuity or trust that generates income - to name just a few.

We often find that planned giving provides our alumni and friends with an opportunity to make a charitable gift in circumstances that may not otherwise allow them to do so. Every gift is unique and depends upon the assets available, the potential tax benefits, and, of course, the donor's vision and intention for the gift.

When Scott Evertz’s parents dropped him off at McCormick Hall in 1980, they watched a confident young man make his way up the path to his freshman dorm…and the rest of his life.
