Professor Eugenia Afinoguenova, Professor of Spanish, published “Tourism and ‘Quality of Life’ at the End of Franco’s Dictatorship.” In Ethics of Life; Contemporary Iberian Debates, ed. Kata Beilin and William Viestenz. Vanderbilt University Press, 2016.
Professor Scott Dale, Associate Professor of Spanish, received the 2016 Course Development Grant from the Marquette University Center for Transnational Justice for his proposal to revise the course "Peoples and Cultures of Spain" with a particular emphasis on issues of social injustice.
Congratulations to Dr. Eugenia Afinoguénova, Professor of Spanish, for receiving the Way Klingler Fellowship Award. The Way Klingler Fellowships are for full-time regular faculty at the Associate or Full Professor rank who have potential for significant scholarship.
