Each year, Marquette's alumni and friends make contributions that build resources for both endowed and current-use scholarships. These contributions from private donors make Marquette more accessible to bright, motivated students.
The Office of Student Financial Aid has the privilege of matching students to these private donor funds based on criteria that our donors specify. Most donors do not require students to submit a formal application, but do look forward to hearing from our students.
In March, students who have received private donor funds will be contacted by a representative in Univeristy Advancement encouraging students to write a thank you note. Your participation in the Student Thank You Program allows our donors to connect with the recipients of their scholarships and acknowledge our donors' generosity. Their continued support makes a difference.
