ABOUT LIGHTNING TALKS

The goal of Lightning Talks is for faculty to present a single topic quickly and clearly. Presentations should be centered around innovative teaching or research practices; they should be interesting, engaging and entertaining. Slides are not required but — if used — should be no more than 20 in number. Marquette’s Instructional Media Center (IMC) can assist with design and presentation needs.

The application period has passed for the 2015 Faculty Tech Day Lightning Talks.



GOALS OF FACULTY TECH DAY

  • To demonstrate the innovative use of technology in teaching and research at Marquette University.
  • To encourage collaboration among peers.
  • To initiate a dialogue regarding academic technology within the institution.
