The Educational Opportunity Student Support Services Program (EOP-SSS), an academic department of Marquette University, has assisted over 1,800 first-generation college students and students from low-income families obtain a college education since 1969. EOP-SSS graduates have established successful careers and become leaders in health, business, law, government, and other professions. What does EOP-SSS provide?
You must demonstrate motivation, maturity, and a genuine interest in pursuing academic goals
You must submit your completed Marquette University Admissions application by the admissions deadline
You must be a first-generation college student (neither of your parents holds a Bachelor’s Degree)
Your family must be considered low-income under federal income guidelines
Email is the primary method of communication at Marquette University unless prohibited by law. In order to apply to EOP, you must have an email address that you have regular and easy access to.

Please provide the following: Latest year signed Federal Income Tax Return or other income documentation (Signed Parents’ Federal Income tax form (if dependent), signed student income tax form if applicable and documentation of nontaxable income such as food stamps, Medicaid, or SSI and include all case number(s)).Copies may be submitted, but be sure they are signed. The document to request tax transcript is located here. The signature page and tax documents can be turned in to the EOP Office (Coughlin Hall, 3rd floor) or you can email copies to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax to 414 288-1769.
All students must file a 2016-17 FAFSA (summer) and a 2017-18 FAFSA. 2015 income tax return information will be used for both FAFSAs. When filing, it is highly recommended that the IRS Data Retrieval Tool is used, if applicable.
