E-LEAD

Guiding Change - Solving Problems - Serving Others

The College of Engineering is launching a people-focused, technical leadership program, E-Lead (Engineers in the Lead), for its undergraduates beginning in the Spring 2014 semester. 

This three-year program is designed to:

Be part of a student cohort of “E-Leaders” that builds and strengthens personal leadership skills while impacting the MU community and communities outside of the university.

Program elements include:

 

Eligibility:

  1. Must be a sophomore in engineering, enrolled as a full-time student
  2. Minimum grade point average of 2.8/4.0
  3. Completion of GEEN 2952 Course - Professional Development for Engineers

To Apply:

Applications Due: Tuesday, November 26, 2013

Application Must Include:

  1. Resume
    Full name, major, anticipated graduation date, cumulative GPA
  2. One-page essay, NOT TO EXCEED 500 words.
    Describe your leadership aspirations and why you want to be part of the E-LEAD program.
  3. List of previous leadership and service experiences including date/length of the experience
  4. Submit via GEEN 2952 Course D2L Dropbox
