The faculty, staff, and administration of the College of Education are pleased to welcome Beth Lunow to Marquette as our new Director of Development. She will serve in the same role for the Office of Mission and Ministry and report to the Office of University Advancement.
Beth joins us directly from the American Cancer Society where she has worked for the past 12 years, most recently as Corporate Executive. She brings deep fundraising experience, having managed a portfolio of relationships and corporate partnerships with executives at local corporations. Beth also led volunteer engagement and community fundraising events, particularly focused on the state of Wisconsin in recent years.
Commenting on our new colleague, Dean Bill Henk noted, “We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Beth’s caliber in this position. My expectation is that her rich experiences, skill set, and personality, coupled with an outstanding work ethic, will help the College to obtain the vital human and material resources necessary to achieve our full promise.”
Beth has served as a Youth Minister with her parish, a position in which she developed and implemented high school Catholic youth programs and coordinated both teen service projects and fundraising events. Beth earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Norbert College, where she has been an active alumna. She is a marathon runner and was an Olympic Torch Bearer for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Beth lives in New Berlin with her husband, Matt.
