What’s that? Better World Books sells the collected books, and the proceeds go towards the National Center for Family Literacy.

Who is organizing this? The College Student Personnel Association (CSPA) is a graduate student organization through the College of Education. For each book donated CSPA will receive $1 towards our professional development funds and our growth as future student affairs professionals. If you have questions please email: rebecca.olsen@marquette.edu or meredith.reinhardt@marquette.edu

What do we need from you?In order to help, all we ask is that you clean out your office/home and donate any textbooks/college level reading books which are no longer in use, or even possibly outdated. The books can be placed in the nearest donation bin marked “Support Literacy: Put Books Here.”Faculty--please look through your collection of books and think about donating! Students—please consider donating your books to charity at the end of the semester instead of selling them!

Where will the bins be located? The bins will be located in the following areas of campus [download campus map] :

What if I have a large amount of books to donate? Please contact Lauren Mountain at lauren.mountain@marquette.edu to set up a day/time when she can bring a cart to your office to pick up the books. Please place them in a box of some kind in preparation for pick-up.
