The Informed Immigrant website provides a step-by-step guide to renewing your DACA.

Many undocumented immigrants may also be eligible for one or more existing immigration options. For this and other legal questions, here are some resources:

  • Catholic Charities, a program supported by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, provides legal assistance for immigrants living in the United States. Información también está disponible en español.
  • The Marquette University Law School provides a free legal clinic on Wednesday evenings at the United Community Center in Walker’s Point.
  • The law student-run Marquette Immigration Law Association provides DACA renewal clinics with some regularity.
  • UW-Madison's Center for DREAMers provides services through a holistic and intersectional approach such as legal, educational, mental, and social services, and career resources to the DACA community in Wisconsin through presentations and community outreach as well as support through culturally responsive training.
  • Know your rights!
  • Avoid scams.
  • A great community resource is Voces de la Frontera, the largest immigrants' and workers' rights organization in the state. They offer citizenship classes, legal clinics, DACA resources, and more!
