    Need a plan post-graduation?   We have something for everyone. Join us for this action-packed day to get you on your way to a successful job search!

Monday, March 31 

  • Consider Insurance Careers | 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. | AMU Ballroom E
    It’s not what you think!  This event provides an opportunity for you to network and mingle with professionals in the insurance field as well as ask any real questions you may have about a future career within the industry.  Learn about career paths within the insurance industry using many skill sets. 


  • Getting an Internship or Job with the State Department | 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. | AMU 425, Office of International Education
    Mr. Brian Flora, Diplomat in Residence, University of Illinois at Chicago
    Dr. Flora will talk about his path in the State Department and inform students about internships, full-time positions and the process of being accepted into the Foreign Service beginning with the Foreign Service Exam.  Short appointment with individual students are available between  10:00 – 12:00 on March 31 in the AMU, Rm. 425. Please call Career Services to set up a time.  All majors welcome and sought by the State Department

    Learn from the largest employer of college grads how to best position yourself to take advantage of networking opportunities. 

  • Majors Fair | 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. | AMU Ballrooms  | Presented by College of Arts & Sciences
    Explore all the majors and career fields available to students enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences.  Alumni, employers, faculty, and students will be showcasing their majors and what you can do after graduation.

    Consider what is important and how to match your values to you internship or full-time career search.  Professional recruiters will help provide you with the tools to ask the right questions as you move through your job search process.

    There is more to know than simply which fork to use…learn to present yourself professionally while dining with prospective employers, Marquette alumni, and colleagues. Networking and dinner conversation will also be covered.
