INTERVIEWING! So you have landed an interview, congratulations! Now the real preparation begins. It is important to learn about the art of interviewing and practice sound interviewing techniques by gaining knowledge of how to better sell yourself to an interviewer and to present powerful interview answers. The suggestions below will help you get started.
- Make a list of ten strengths (you have many more). Think in terms of the job you are seeking. Write down those ten strengths and then make a list of examples you could use to demonstrate those skills. This will give you a battery of answers for typical interview questions. For assistance in skills identification, read our Transferable Skills handout and check the skills you are able to demonstrate.
- Call 414-288-7423 to schedule a mock interview with a career counselor.
