Then in the afternoon, students will shadow an Assistant Merchant in the buying offices for a couple hours.

The Institute is designed for highly motivated, intellectually curious women who are interested in exploring their own leadership potential and making an impact in their communities and in the world. Participants in the program will be exposed to creative curricula, lectures and expressive learning workshops taught by Mount Mary’s faculty and community leaders from throughout the Milwaukee community.

Harry K. Thomas, Jr. is the Diplomat in Residence at Arizona State University, responsible for the State Department’s recruitment efforts in the Southwest and is an adjunct faculty member teaching an international relations course in the School of Global and Political Studies.

The weekend will end with a community exploration scavenger hunt in which teams of four (two students and two area young professionals) will "race" through the Fox Cities, shedding light on components of young professional life in the Fox Cities, such as: housing, parks, arts & culture, shopping, dining, nightlife, and more.

Within the Fox Cities Region, there are over 250 entry-level Computer Science/IT positions and over 300 entry-level engineering positions due to become available within the next year. The registration deadline for this event is March 27.

Transportation: The Marquette Career Services Center will provide transportation to interested students. All students must arrive at the CSC (Holthusen Hall - First Floor) by 7:45 a.m.; we will depart at 8:00 a.m. promptly.  After the event, we will leave Epic at 2:45 p.m. with an estimated arrival back to campus around 4:15 p.m.
