InterviewStream
This new software offers a chance for students to practice interviewing skills using a web cam. The questions can be chosen by the student or she can decide to use the ones we have selected. An interviewer comes on-screen, asks the questions, and then the student’s responses are recorded. It’s a great way for students who have NEVER had a formal interview to practice. They can send the videos to whomever to review, including the career counselors here at MU. We will be requiring students taking our classes to take part in this.
There are questions for any type of interview, law school, med school, teachers, business, etc. It’s a great way to help students become more prepared for the job search. Plus, it’s very fun!
InterviewStream is revolutionary software that fuses streaming video, the Internet, and your resume. Using a webcam and an Internet-connected computer, you can prepare for upcoming interviews, practice for second interviews, and enhance your interviewing skills from your computer.

Golden Eagle Search
This AMAZING search engine uses spider crawler technology to search thousands of corporate web sites, job boards, education, government, newspaper and recruiting websites. This is most useful for our students seeking positions outside of the Milwaukee-Chicago area. There is also a section that students can search positions by SKILL SET rather than just knowing a job title; great for our students who have a sense of their goals but not a concrete job title. It includes internships as well as full-time positions. We LOVE this new resource.
This Job Search Portal has over 5 million national job postings that come from corporate web sites, job boards, education, government, newspaper and recruiting websites. Jobs are collected from all industries, disciplines, and regions.
