Class Projects

The projects have been as varied as the participants and organizations with which they work. They range from the establishment of a credit union at a local Boys and Girls Club and the development of a community health advocate program to fundraising initiatives for dozens of non-profit organizations.

Class of 2008 projects

  • Developed a public relations, promotion and marketing plan for Fondy Foods. Read more about Fondy Foods.
  • Worked with the Rotary Club of Milwaukee to expand their Reading is Fundamental program in Milwaukee Public Schools
  • Researched volunteer opportunities for retirees through the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network
  • Collaborated with the Wisconsin Non-profits Association to develop a public policy network for members

  • A Fundraiser for the Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation
  • Research into restorative justice programs for a neighborhood group
  • Project planning for a restaurant for Wisconsin Community Services
  • A friendraiser for Transitional Living Services
  • An art project fundraiser for Catch a Rising Star
  • An alumni engagement plan and fundraiser for St. Catherine Residence
