Financial Assistance

Community organizations and members are proud to offer financial assistance to make the Future Milwaukee program available to individuals who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

To apply for a scholarship you will need to:

  1. Provide a current copy of your resume with this application.

  2. Fill out the scholarship form.

  3. An answer not to exceed two to three paragraphs for the following:
    1. How are you involved in the community?
    2. How will you use what you hope to gain in Future Milwaukee to better your community?
    3. Please provide your reason(s) for applying for the scholarship.

Gwen Jackson Scholarship Application (full scholarship)

This scholarship is named for Gwendolyn Jackson, a lifelong volunteer who has had a tremendous impact on the Milwaukee community and will be awarded to an individual dedicated to serving the community in which they live.

We will evaluate the applications based on:

  1. Demonstrated community service
  2. Desire to learn about leadership and community service as a lifelong pursuit
  3. Demonstrated need for financial assistance

Applications are being accepted for the Future Milwaukee Class of 2011. The class will start in September of 2010, and will graduate in May of 2011.
