Mandi Weis received her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2001. After interning at the Storage Technology Corporation wellness center in Boulder, CO, she went back to La Crosse to earn her Master of Science degree in Community Health Education.
From there, Ms. Weis started her career working for Summex Corporation as a Health Educator. At Summex, she provided personal health coaching to employees of corporations throughout the United States to improve their health status and reduce their risk factors for chronic disease.
Ms. Weis subsequently worked for StayWell Health Management as a Wellness Coordinator for Chrysler Corp. located at their engine plant in Kenosha, WI. She was responsible for the implementation of its award winning health and wellness program to over 1,000 employees. While in that role, she also became involved in community wellness and was appointed chair of the Kenosha Community Healthcare Initiatives’ Lifestyle & Wellness committee.
