MBA/MS in Nursing
Healthcare is a multi-billion dollar industry which continues to grow and is showing
no signs of slowing down anytime soon. We need medical professions that not only understand
patient care but can also understand the business of patient care. Pricing issues, employee management and leadership, recruiting,
supply chain and more are necessary skills in any business but probably essential
to the healthcare industry now and in the future.
Marquette University’s Graduate School of Management, in conjunction with the College of Nursing, offers a program of joint study leading to an MBA degree and an MSN degree in nursing, with a specialization in Health Care Systems Leadership. Students seeking admission to the joint program must apply separately to both the Graduate School of Management and the College of Nursing and must meet the admission requirements for each.
Efficiencies are built into the program to maximize the student’s time and energy while providing thorough coverage in each area.
Students will be assigned an advisor in each program, and it is recommended that the student meet with each advisor prior to registration each semester.
