The Les Aspin Center offers summer- and semester-long internship programs in Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee. Both programs give students an opportunity to work alongside some of today's most prominent local and national politicians and public servants. Students will learn about public policy — and actually witness it in the making — arts and culture, interest-group politics, the U.S. Congress, and foreign policy and international relations.

Our unique internship programs are open to eligible students pursuing any field of study attending any university. In fact, we have programs tailored specifically for students studying biomedical engineering, biomedical science, business administration, communication and nursing. If you're interested in learning more about careers in public service, we have a program to fit your needs.
