Friday, July 25

Reunion WeekendReunion Registration and Information
Noon – 8 p.m., Alumni Memorial Union, Second Floor

Check in at reunion headquarters and pick up your registration information and tickets for all events. Light refreshments provided.

Afternoon of Reflection
1 p.m. – 3 p.m., Chapel of the Holy Family
3 p.m. Mass

Join your reunion classmates from all years for an afternoon of prayer and reflection in the Jesuit tradition lead by Rev. Frederick Zagone, S.J. Based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, there will be time for individual prayer and group discussion. The sacrament of reconciliation (confession) will be available, although the retreat is open to people of all faith traditions.


Reminiscing with Archives
Noon – 6 p.m.
Alumni Memorial Union

Take a trip down memory lane browsing through the university’s collection of Hilltop and Tribune archives, photographs, memorabilia and other treasures from the past 50 years. Take in film footage documenting Marquette’s history — including the 1977 championship game — and be transported to yesteryear.


The Walk of Champions

Located inside the Al McGuire Center is a tribute to the legacy of Marquette Athletics.
It is currently a work in progress, but still worth the visit! It will be available for viewing on Friday, July 25 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 26 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Round-trip bus transportation provided to all off-campus tours by the Alumni Association. All buses depart from the Alumni Memorial Union.

Celebrate Dr. Michael McKinney’s career at Marquette
Were you ever an organic chemistry student of Dr. Michael McKinney? The Chemistry Department invites you to celebrate his career during a day-long symposium, featuring alumni speakers in the pharmaceutical industry and academics, on Friday, July 25. Run or Walk the Marquette Mile or 5K
9 a.m., Alumni Memorial Union, Room 227, rain or shine
Get ready for a brisk walk or run around Marquette’s campus. This one-mile or 5K trek through your old stomping grounds is sure to bring back memories and help energize you for a fun day ahead. Runners for the 5K line up first, followed by one-mile runners, then walkers.

College of Engineering 100th Anniversary Celebration
In conjunction with Marquette University’s long-standing tradition of Reunion Weekend, we will also begin our yearlong plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the College of Engineering. During Reunion Weekend 2008 we will reflect on the history of Alpha Omega Epsilon, Sigma Phi Delta and Triangle Fraternity while looking forward to the next 100 years for the College of Engineering and the new Discovery Learning Complex.

Supervised by Marquette’s Krueger Child Care Center, Kids’ Camp is a safe and fun way for young children to enjoy Reunion Weekend.


Note: Kids’ Camp closes promptly at 11:30 p.m. Parents picking up their children after 11:30 p.m. will be charged $10 per half hour.
