College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Management Award Recipients
Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award
RONALD J. KUJAWA, BUS AD '53
Oak Creek, Wis.
The Associated Landscape Contractors of America once named Ron an “Industry Trailblazer,” a moniker befitting the man who — with his wife, Sally — more than 50 years ago started what has grown into a nationally recognized, four-season, full-service landscape management company in Oak Creek, Wis.
Professional Achievement Award
MARGARET DRUML BOYLE, BUS AD '80
When a home or business is damaged by fire, water or any host of tragedies, it can have a devastating impact. That’s why Meg is proud to help lead Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling, which provides emergency relief for property losses nationwide.
RICHARD A. WIEGAND, BUS AD '81
Rick is best known for restoring the historic Ambassador Hotel. But his vision is broader: He’s involved with the newly formed Near West Side Partners Inc., an organization aiming to improve the neighborhoods north and west of Marquette.
ANN MARIE WICK, BUS AD '92
Ann Marie’s servant leadership has made an indelible impression on the college and university. She served on the College of Business Administration Alumni Association Board, including as its president, and currently serves on the Accounting Department Advisory Board and college’s dean search committee. Her commitment to the community is just as extensive, especially her focus on secondary education and those in poverty.
Young Alumnus of the Year Award
JORGE M. GARCÍA, BUS AD '08
When he was applying to universities, Jorge — like many other first-generation college students — felt overwhelmed. Through his work today at Instituto del Progreso Latino, he’s helping other students navigate the same process that daunted him years ago.
