Application Requirements for MU Students on Non-MU Programs

APPLICATION DEADLINES

October 1: Spring Semester Study
March 1 : Fall, Summer or Full Academic Year Study
*If the deadline falls on a weekend, applications are due the following business day

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND FORMS FOR NON-MU PROGRAMS

1. Marquette Study Abroad Application (PDF)
2. Typed, double spaced motivation essay (prompt on application form)
3. Unofficial college transcript printed from CheckMarq
4. One academic recommendation* (use our Recommendation form)
   *Business students will get their recommendation from Dr. Jamshid Hosseini

Required ONLY for students who need to maintain at least half-time (summer) or full-time (semester) enrollment while abroad (Does this apply to me?)

5. Consortium Agreement Packet (make sure to read all instructions)
7. Early submission of the Course Approval Form
    (Course approval process varies by college: Course approval overview)

Additional Program-Specific Requirements

Non-Marquette programs may have their own application requirements that are due at the same time, or earlier, than Marquette's. Please check with your program provider for these requirements.
