
Anne O’Brien is the senior associate vice president at Marquette University. Reporting to the senior vice president, she is responsible for assisting the senior vice president in the support functions of the university which include Administration, Finance, General Counsel, Intercollegiate Athletics, Marketing and Communication, Public Affairs, Student Affairs and University Advancement.
O’Brien has been at Marquette for over 25 years joining the university in 1981 as the parking and traffic manager. She has held several positions since then, including bursar, assistant vice president of administration, and assistant executive vice president.
She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Her husband, Peter, is a Marquette alumnus. Their daughter Amy is currently a junior in the College of Business Administration, and their son Michael is a junior at Brookfield Central High School.
