The World's Your Stage
Marquette Theatre Majors are professionally trained creators, collaborators, leaders, and thinkers who are prepared to grow, adapt, and change the world through the performing arts. Our student-oriented program offers a strong liberal arts education with a social justice focus.
A Program of Professional Excellence
Marquette University is accredited by NAST (National Association of Schools of Theatre). We are among a select group of programs nation-wide recognized for meeting NAST standards of excellence in teaching theatre. We are committed to helping you develop professionally while giving you a high quality education.

Take Center Stage
Starting day one, be a part of a busy main-stage production season, as well as film projects and studio productions. You can design and build sets, create costumes, and bring characters to life. You will work with professionals in the classroom and on set to develop your skills from acting, to lighting, scenic and costume design, to technical production, stage and arts management.
