An internship is a career development experience that gives you the opportunity to put communication theory into practice. Working in real-life situations provides the opportunity to gain exposure to your chosen career field, explore the possibilities within that field, and to develop and enhance skills needed in your industry. In addition, having an internship on your resume provides prospective employers with insights into your capabilities. A professional within the industry of your major supervises all internships.
In addition, you can join Marquette Career Network, Marquette's official global online community, facilitating career-related conversations between current students and alumni, parents and friends.
