Cognitive science is the study of the mind – thought, learning and mental organization – through the integrated use of methods and concepts from various disciplines, including psychology, philosophy, computer science, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, mathematics, linguistics, biology and anthropology.

Cognitive Science major Maya Rodriguez presented her research, conducted as part of her INCG internship, at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA.Congratulations to Maya for receiving the competitive ASH Abstract Achievement Award, usually reserved for graduate students, postodoctoral fellows and clinical fellows! Maya also won the 1st Place Award for her research in the Medical College of Wisconsin Cardiovascular Center Retreat!
