Welcome to the Marquette University Center for Pre-health Advising
Marquette University has a long and successful history of preparing students for careers in health professional fields. The Center for Pre-health Advising is ready to help you find your place among the thousands of Marquette alumni doctors, dentists and other professionals around the world.
Marquette's pre-health advisors will work closely with you throughout your undergraduate career to help you identify and achieve what it takes to be a strong candidate for admission to a health professional program.
If you're admitted to the Pre-dental Scholars program, physician assistant studies program or the direct-admit physical therapy program at Marquette, you should contact your academic advisor for program-specific questions.
COVID 19 Planning
Our Center for Pre-Health Advising will provide remote advising for students during this time. Please read this message for more information.
A clear understanding of the field and exposure to medicine are critical to ensure that students are making the right career choice.
Three of the most important aspects of a successful applicant to dental school are strong academics, quality experiences as an undergraduate and letters of recommendation.
PAs are trained as generalists in medicine, but also work in specialty areas such as orthopedics, emergency medicine, cardiology and dermatology.
