At Commencement, Miranda was bursting with excitement about her next step — she's taking her degree in biomedical sciences on to Marquette’s School of Dentistry. “I’m obsessed with my own dentist,” she exclaimed. “It was always so much fun going to see him.” How many people say that? But Miranda’s dentist is a special case. Dr. Neil Peterson, Dent ’67, a pediatric dentist, has devoted his career to helping Milwaukee kids learn to take good care of their teeth. Now, he has inspired his former patient and new dental student. Good luck, Miranda!

Adam came to Marquette to earn a dental degree. His first day of classes — maybe THE first class, he says — he found something even better. He met his wife. “I pursued her, for sure,” he admits. He and that dental grad who shares the same last name, Dr. Jessica Pasono, are heading back to Adam’s hometown to practice.

Jessica leaves Marquette with a dental degree to hang on the wall and a dental partner for life. She and fellow dental student Adam Pasono met in class and married. They’re moving to Adam’s hometown, De Pere, Wis., to set up practice.

Haley graduated with a degree in nursing and a job already secured at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, where she will be a surgical nurse. And, when she’s not scrubbing up, look for Haley outdoors, probably riding her bike.
