Alumni give back to help students move forward

Marquette's alumni mentorship program is giving grads a chance to reconnect with the university, but, more importantly, it's helping them build relationships with students. The program has successfully matched almost 350 students and alumni pairs in the past year, with participants in the colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Communication and Engineering.

Sold! Crowdfunding helps Center for Real Estate hit funding goal

Hoping to ensure that students can continue to attend national conferences, the Center for Real Estate in Marquette’s College of Business Administration set an ambitious goal: Raise $6,300 in less than a month. Thanks to an innovative crowdfunding approach, they ended up raising nearly $8,900.

A spring break recap: Giving back is the new black

 Though students like to relax and unwind on spring break, they enjoy the opportunity to give back even more. Service trips have become an increasingly popular Marquette spring break alternative, and this year more than 300 students spent their vacations volunteering at sites around the country through the Marquette Action Program.
