Director - AIM Program (CFA Investments concentration)

Mike Blonski has more than 25 years of professional investment experience at Artisan Partners, L.P., an investment management firm in Milwaukee, WI with more than $150 billion in assets under management. He joined Artisan Partners shortly after its founding in 1995 and served as an equity trader for 23 years. In that role, Mr. Blonski served as the lead point person designing and implementing trading strategies for numerous portfolio managers, including the US Value Team, which was named the Morningstar Managers of the Year in 2013.

Mr. Blonski was named an Instructor of Practice in Finance in fall 2023 and AIM’s Director of the CFA Investments Concentration in spring 2024 culminating his long association with Marquette as an adjunct professor of finance from 2001 to 2015. During this tenure, he helped to establish Marquette’s AIM program in 2004 and inaugurated the annual Wall Street trip to New York City.

Mr. Blonski earned his Master in Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago in 2000 and his Bachelor of Science – Accounting degree from Marquette University in 1991. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Public Accountant.
